Green Office Welcomes Oneda Castillo as Head Professional

Decatur, GA – January 28, 2025 — Green Office, the innovative indoor golf studio and community hub, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Oneda Castillo as its Head Professional. Castillo, a Master Life LPGA Teaching Professional and member of the African American Golfers Hall of Fame, brings decades of expertise and leadership to Green Office.

Joining the LPGA in 1997, Castillo made history as one of the first African American women to achieve Class A status and is currently the only African American LPGA Master Teaching Professional. Her work as a Global Education Instructor for the LPGA and Director of Golf for the Women in Golf Foundation highlights her dedication to growing the game and fostering inclusivity. In recognition of her commitment to volunteerism and community service, she received the President's Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama.

Among her many accomplishments, Castillo has played golf in all 50 states, a personal milestone that underscores her passion for exploring and celebrating the sport across the country.

“I believe in golf for well-being, exercise, relationship, and character building,” says Castillo, whose philosophy aligns with Green Office’s mission to create an inclusive, welcoming space for all golfers.

As Head Professional, Castillo will lead instructional programs and community initiatives, elevating the experience for all Green Office members and guests.
